Investigation Engineer

  Phillip holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University. Prior to joining ThinkReliability, he spent over a decade in the energy sector, including nine years in the oil and gas industry and two years in power generation.

During his time in oil and gas, Phillip held technical roles in operations support, rotating equipment, and reliability engineering, where he developed deep expertise in equipment performance and failure analysis. In the power generation industry, he served as a Principal Plant Engineer and Maintenance Manager, leading maintenance strategy and driving reliability improvements across critical systems.

In 2017, Phillip discovered a strong technical passion for root cause investigations and shifted his career focus toward solving complex operational and reliability challenges.

Phillip lives in Ohio with his wife and children. In his free time, he enjoys running, playing basketball, working on home improvement projects, and flying drones.
