Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Air Force Academy.   Ryan earned his Masters of Aeronautical Science in Aviation Aerospace Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.

Before joining ThinkReliability as an Investigation Engineer, he was an Air Force senior pilot with manned and unmanned experience, chemical plant reliability engineer and supervisor, and tank terminal project and maintenance engineer.  In these roles, Ryan learned Cause Mapping^® root cause analysis, which he has since used to solve various types of technical equipment problems and map company processes.

Ryan lives outside New Orleans with his wife and children, and is an avid photographer, capturing the architecture and culture of New Orleans through his lens, and enjoys traveling when he can.  Ryan also practices martial arts as a 4th degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
