Cause Mapping RCA Investigator & Instructor

Ely has a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. Ely’s prior experience was at the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program.

Ely has been teaching root cause analysis workshops for ThinkReliability since 2008. He finds that the ThinkReliability approach is practical and that it’s exciting to see a problem become easy to talk about and understand. He gets to meet lots of people from all sorts of different industries and share what we’ve all learned.
